Commute
If you live in Seafair, the closest SkyTrain station to you is Brighouse Station. It is a 10-minute drive away. However, buses run along No. 1 Road and Williams Road. Schools
Seafair, Richmond has two elementary school catchments. So, the school that falls into your catchment area will depend on which part of the neighbourhood you live in. If you live north of Francis Road, the elementary school is James Gilmore Elementary. Which has a 6.9 rating on Fraser Institute’s school ranking list. On the other hand, if you live south of Francis Road, then your catchment elementary is Dixon with a current rating of 6.8.
Regardless of which part of the neighbourhood you live in the high school is Hugh Boyd Secondary which has a 4.1 rating. High Boyd Secondary has an incentive program which challenges motivated students to achieve academic and personal excellence. This may be ideal for your children.
Parks
In addition to the school parks, Seafair is located along the West Dyke Recreational Trail. This is a great place for watching sunsets and sunrises while walking or cycling the trail. The trail connects into Garry Point Park on the south end, and Terra Nova Park on the north end.

All your shopping and dining options are located a short walk away at Seafair Shopping Centre. Although, our most frequent stop at this plaza is the BC Liquor Store, other store include:

Also, just across No. 1 Road is the West Richmond Pitch & Putt Golf Course. It is perfect for children and beginners. The West Richmond Community Centre is also in Boyd Park. It has a fitness centre, badminton and squash courts, and activities for seniors and teens.
Lastly, Hugh Boyd soccer and sports fields are located at No. 1 Road and Francis Road. These are the main fields in Richmond for both, children and adults that play soccer.
