Lastly, for those looking for French Immersion, the catchment schools are Bridge Elementary. It has a 5.9 rating. Whereas, McRoberts Secondary has a 8.1 rating.
Parks
Sea Island features scenic trails along the Middle and North Arm of the Fraser River. Many people enjoy coming here to watch the planes take off and land. With a unique 4 km jetty, Iona Beach Regional Park is perfect for nature walks and cycling. Close by McDonald Beach Park is another hidden gem, with trails along the river. Not only perfect for nature walks, barbecuing, bird watching but this beach park also has a designated Off-Leash Dog area.
Larry Berg Flight Path Park is a very popular plane watching location. The area includes unique flight and travel art. Parking and picnic tables are available on a first come basis.
Shopping & Dinning
McArthur Glen Designer Outlet is a shopping destination. It is just steps from Templeton Skytrain Station. With 60+ stores and 10 restaurants and cafes, McArthur Glen Designer Outlet is popular both for locals and those on vacation. What’s more, it offers free parking and free wifi.
In addition, many locals enjoy waterfront dining at the Flying Beaver Bar & Grill. The Fairmont’s Globe @ YVR Restaurant and Jetside Lounge are also popular for dining and high tea.
