The largest park in McLennan North is the Garden City Lands: Community Farm and Bog Conservation. It is 136.5 acres of open space that is within the Agricultural Land Reserve. It consists of a 2.9km pathway which is prefect for your evening walks or bike rides. A portion of the park is also used as the KPU teaching farm. There are plans to add benches and a water feature to the park in the coming years.
The Garden City Community Park is also in McLennan North. It is a 23.76-acre park and is one of Richmond’s most popular play environments. The park has a lake, walking trails, bike terrain park, an off-leash dog park, as well as almost 100 tree species. The Birch Neighbourhood Park and Katsura Neighbourhood Park are also in McLennan North.
