About East Vancouver

Transportation & Commute

Depending on traffic and on where exactly you are in East Vancouver, Downtown is a quick 10-15 minute drive. It’s also conveniently accessible by bike, bus and Skytrain. Expo line West takes you right into the heart of the city. Expo line East takes you into Burnaby, New Westminster and Surrey. If you want to drive into Burnaby and New Westminster, Kingsway is the best routes. Central Richmond can be accessed in about 20 minutes through Knight Street Bridge.

Furthermore, if you are a travel enthusiast, like us, YVR Airport can be reached in about 25 minutes via the Arthur Laing Bridge. Also, the Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal in West Vancouver is about a half hour drive via Hwy 1. Hwy 1 East is a route you will take when discovering the Fraser Valley, Harrison Hot Springs, Okanagan and other popular destinations East of Vancouver. Lastly, if you enjoy the scenery of the North Shore, Ironworks Memorial Bridge provides access over the Burrard Inlet.
